We are teaming up with local business Exquisite Portuguese Senses to bring you a Portuguese wine tasting dinner featuring top class wines from the Vinho Verde, Douro and Moscatel de Setúbal areas. Chef Leon will design a dish to complement and enhance the flavours of each of the wines.

The evening includes a glass of fizz on arrival and a 3 course menu with matching Portuguese wines, all for just £55 per person.

Wednesday 10th October 2018
This evening will showcase wines from the mighty Delas Frères wine estate in Rhône, which will be accompanied by a delicious 3 course menu created by Head Chef Leon. The price per person is £60.

Founded 160 years ago in the heart of the northern Côtes du Rhône, Delas Frères today crafts world class wines from both northern and southern Rhône.

Tending the steep sloping vineyards, which total some 30 hectares of vines, the team adapt their growing practices to each plot of vines to let the terroir of the Rhône shine through in the wines.

Crafted by winemaker Jacques Grange (who is originally from Burgundy), the wines from Delas Frères epitomise finesse and elegance. Recent vintages from the vineyards of Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Ventoux have been lauded in the press for their intensity of flavour and excellent value.


From Hush Heath Estate in Kent : Nannetees English Rosé 2017

Named after the producers youngest daughter this rosé has a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.  A youthful herby aroma with a palate of strawberry and stone fruit makes this wine an ideal Aperitif and it’s great with fish.

This delightful wine oozes summer and is available at £7.00 for a 125ml glass, £10.50 for a 175ml glass, £13.00 for a 250ml glass, £25.50 for a 50cl carafe and £38 a bottle.
